'But also' Newsletter - May/June 2025
We have landed in the 'slow' season, but that doesn't mean there isn't a whole bunch happening! Come in as close as you'd like <3
Hey hi hello,
May was a month of dichotomy. I was so excited to slow down a bit, but instead…
I performed in the orchestral workshop of My Name is Florence by BE Boykin (a Black woman!) & Harrison Rivers with Minnesota Opera, which was an amazing experience.
We laid my husband’s grandmother to rest.
My kiddo took their first unassisted step.
Then my grandmother passed away.
It was a wild 3 weeks and frankly I’m still recovering. HOWEVER, I have some things to share.
Firstly, I wanted to give a recap for how to get subscribed to the other sections of this Substack as those will become more active in the coming months. In a browser navigate to this website: your.substack.com/account (or go to your account settings), from there you will see the Substacks you are subscribed to, toggle on any sections you are not subscribed to, but would like to be!
Here’s an example picture from Substack:
Lastly, if you are here and you are not following me on Facebook or Instagram please do so as I will be speaking about the things I do and am offering with greater frequency!
Happenings:
